In November, Richmond Community Services’ Employee Appreciation Committee hosted its much-anticipated Annual Staff Gala, a night dedicated to celebrating the unwavering commitment of our incredible staff and the remarkable achievements of the individuals we serve—children and adults with developmental disabilities. Held at the stunning Castle Royale in Yonkers, this event combined elegance, gratitude, and a profound sense of community spirit.
Richmond Community Services has been a pillar of support for individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence, inclusion, and personal growth. The Annual Gala highlighted these efforts by honoring our residents’ accomplishments and the dedication of the staff who tirelessly work to enhance their lives. A key moment of the evening was the Years of Service Awards, presented by our President/CEO to recognize staff members for their long-standing contributions and commitment to Richmond’s mission.
The evening was a memorable one, featuring a gourmet dinner and live entertainment that created a lively and joyous atmosphere. Attendees, including staff, families, and supporters, had the opportunity to connect and reflect on the shared vision of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their fullest potential.
This celebration was also a conscious call to action, emphasizing the importance of community support in sustaining Richmond Community Services’ programs and services. The funds raised during the gala directly contribute to initiatives that provide personalized care, life-enhancing strategies, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.
