These are just a few of the many reasons staff members at Richmond Community Services have been nominated for and received Quality Matters Awards. Quality Matters is a program that seeks to recognize outstanding work by Richmond employees. Through excellence, these staff members have exemplified Richmond's Core Values and made significant differences in the lives of individuals and families. Richmond’s core values include:

Revived in July 2022, Quality Matters was on hiatus during the height of the pandemic when all efforts were focused on the health and safety of residents. Since its return, over 50 employees have been nominated with 17 award recipients. Nominations can be confidentially submitted by any staff member, family member, or supporter. All nominations are reviewed by a committee and recipients are chosen based on the actions highlighted in their nomination. Award winners receive both a certificate and a financial gift.

In your email, please include the name of the person you are nominating, the work location, and the reason why you are nominating that person. Please be as specific as possible when describing the event that inspired you to nominate someone.
